Shaping attitudes. Challenging injustice. Changing lives.

Individuals

NAT relies on the commitment, generosity, and enthusiasm of each of our supporters. At an individual level, there are so many things you can do to show your support.

Diana, Princess of Wales was one of the first public figures to challenge misconceptions about HIV. As patron of NAT, Diana was committed to raising the profile of HIV and challenging stigma - the images of Diana holding hands with people living with HIV had a huge impact and Today, we're continuing our work to increase public awareness and understanding and to ensure make sure people living with HIV are treated with justice, dignity and respect. To help continue this work and keep Diana's legacy alive you can make a donation. You can also:

  • Add your voice to our campaigns, we often ask our supporters to follow our campaigns and where necessary take action to show your support, this could be by signing a petition or writing to someone who makes decisions that affect people living with HIV.
  • Wearing a red ribbon is one of the most simple but effective ways of showing your support for people living with HIV. The red ribbon is the international symbol of awareness and support. Help us make red ribbons widely available this World AIDS Day - sell them for us! Order a collection box here.
  • Educate yourself and others. The most powerful way of supporting our work is to help spread the word. If you know the facts about HIV, not only can you protect yourself but you can help others by letting them know about us.
