What information do we collect?

In order to review and improve NAT's website we collect certain types of statistical information about web visitors. This includes IP addresses, web pages visited and length of visits. None of this information enables NAT to identify individual users.

In certain circumstances, we ask for more detailed personal information, for instance if you access the Policy Network, join our mailing list, make a donation or place an order through the online shop.

How does NAT use your personal information?

Personal information provided is stored securely and will be used for the purpose stated at the time of collection. NAT, and it's trading subsidiaries, may also use information that you have given to us to provide you with further information that we feel may be of interest to you. You can opt out of receiving any future communications from NAT and it's trading subsidiaries at the both the time the data is collected or later by calling 020 7814 6767.

Our online surveys are used to monitor NAT's work and ensure we are providing an effective service to our users.

The Policy Network pages use "cookies" which enable our website to remember who you are and log you in automatically. Cookies do not contain personal information. If you do not wish our website to store cookies from your computer you can modify your web browser to refuse cookies. Is information shared with any third party?

We do not pass on personal information to any external third party unless clearly stated otherwise or we are legally compelled to do so.

Donations are processed through our partner organisation Just Giving, who will transfer relevant data to NAT. Just Giving operates Secure Sockets Layer technology (SSL) which encrypts your financial information and prevents interception by a third party.
